Al Moasat Association in Saida organized a training course on the dangers of gender-based violence in partnership with Mercy Corps at the Ahmed and Jameela Al-Bizri Social Center of the Association. The course targeted 15 persons from members of the Dr. Nazih Al-Bizri for Primary Health Care as they are in contact with the largest segment of those who frequent the health center, especially women.
During the session, the definition of gender-based violence, its types, causes and effects were discussed, especially that there is a large group exposed to violence of this kind. Also so that the health center staff could be aware of such violence and refer cases to associations that deal with this category of violators.
During the session, a discussion took place on  how to transfer the victims of the victims to the specialized associations, each according to its situation.
The session was followed by a lunch that was held for the participants in the building's eastern courtyard.
